China has been a great influence in the traditional culture and the lifestyle of Korea and other East Asian countries from ancient times.
China is especially located near where Korea stands and is developing quickly in Asia and the Pacific area. There is no doubt that China is one of the largest countries this century. In this regard, the Dept. of Chinese Language and Literature cultivates students who can swiftly respond to current events of the world in relation to China. The Dept. of Chinese Language and Literature is open to all students who want to reach the 1.3 billion people, vast territory, and rich history of China.
